Working Momma Diaries: Custom Stationary & Thank You Cards

While this is a sponsored post, the opinions and reviews below are my own.

We've been preparing for William's baptism and this time I'm trying to add some fun and unique touches to it. One way I'm going to do that for this event, and for this year, is through thank you cards! I've been looking around for personalized, custom thank you cards and stationary for both kids and think I've found a great solution for the momma who is a perfectionist, and who wants to have limitless options for her stationary. So, today I've partnered with Basic Invite to talk about the thank you cards I'm planning to send out after the event - and throughout 2020 - to our friends, family and god parents who are attending.

I was looking for stationary and thank you cards that meet 4 pieces of criteria: sparkle, customization, sample options, and automated addressing. Basic Invite offers all in a really unique way! Read until the end for a special discount code, too!

1. SPARKLE - I'm obsessed with sparkle so I ordered the foil Baptism thank you cards in the image above. Their foil cards are available in gold, silver, and rose gold. You can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs. I also upgraded to the lux satin card stock finish to make them fancier ;)

2 - CUSTOMIZATION - It usually takes me an hour to pick out personalized cards because I get so caught up in wanting to tweak the small things. One of the best things about Basic Invite is that it is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail.

I ordered William's cards in the gold foil and Adelaide's in rose gold! I was able to change every single piece of text, add more text, change all the colors and images. It really was such a simple experience AND I got to make the exact cards I wanted. No more having to use the exact template or set of words in the template online - you can make your cards your own!

Another fun thing about them is that Basic Invite is just as colorful with their envelopes as with their invitations. You can choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to their envelopes so that they can make their invitation stand out even before it is opened. All of their envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed. No more licking every.single.envelope and getting that nasty after-taste!

3 - SAMPLES - Another of the things I love about this company is that you can order a sample BEFORE purchasing a large amount of their thank you cards (or wedding thank you cards ) to make sure you're ordering exactly what you want. I noticed that Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before they ever have to place their final order. I ordered a sample of both of the cards I pictured of the kids and will actually be using them as thank you cards throughout 2020!

4 - AUTOMATED ADDRESSING - Finally, Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows customers to simply share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request their friends and family’s addresses which will be stored in the customer’s account and can then be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders. This means you can get all your addresses updated without texting, chatting or calling all of your friends, family and co-workers!

And the best part? Right now Basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code: 15FF51

Let me know what you think! Do you have personalized stationary?

XO,

Kaylee
