The Working Momma Diaries: Whole30 Shopping List

Due to popular demand I'm continuing this series - the Working Momma Diaries - to share some of the things I've learned while balancing work and being a momma.

For those that don't know me well, I travel for work. I used to travel every week and took a role for the current year where I travel about 1-2 times a month instead. My husband also travels for work 100% of the week. Needless to say, we have spent the past few months figuring out a new routine and balancing crazy travel, airplanes, nap times, family time, bedtime, and trying to find time for friends and romance. I looked around and realized a lot of my momma friends work and figured I'd share some of the best tips I've learned from them and my time so far.

So I'm trying to loose my holiday weight and detox. I have been struggling with this shoulder pain since August and PT, workouts, rest, and all of the other things prescribed to me are not working. Thus, my dr suggested I try an anti-inflammatory diet to see if that helps. Soooo, here we are with another Whole30 in progress! For those working mommas out there, I know this diet can be super

overwhelming. So I've listed out a shopping list and linked some of my most popular Whole30 tips from last year when we did 3 rounds of it.

Working and starting a new diet, one where you can't order take-out is HARD. So I over-planned and am sharing this present with you all! Here is my meal prep schedule for the MONTH below. And my grocery list for a family of 2 adults + 1 toddler by week with the cost of the items. The first and third weeks have the 'essentials' baked in, but this is my real meal list, my real grocery list (excluding Addie's snackage + milk) and the real cost. You can make Whole30 affordable and into a 'quick meal' if you plan ahead.

See my link to quick Whole30 sheet pan meal prep ideas here, how to keep it going here, and ways to make meal prep faster here. I also included some links to cheap Whole30 staples, including mayo, bacon, ghee, olive oil and other essentials that you'll want to stock up on in your first week.

Comment below and let me know how your journey is going! Would you like me to share all my recipes, too?
