Spring Jewelry Capsule: Wooden Watches
To be real, I've been wearing a lot of sweatshirts and yoga pants, but now that I'm at my computer all day working, I'm kind of loving dressing up to work in my study or go to the public library. Since I've been back to work I've been looking to build a jewelry capsule of items that I can have on hand that are simple accessories that effortlessly match everything. My thinking here is that if I have a few staples - a couple of classic bracelets, watch, a few statement necklaces and earrings, I can dress up or down any outfit. My newest, favorite item is my JORD watch.
One of the most unique things about this watch is that it is made of wood and has gold inlay details. I love that it is a black color, too. It literally matches everything, especially all of my gold accent jewelry that is in vogue right now.
This style is called the Frankie and I got the Ebony & Gold color. The face is large, but its actually the lightest watch I have ever owned. It's classic, refined and modern. It goes with my business formal and casual clothing and even my favorite pair of mom jeans!
