Working Momma Holiday Resources
I just looked at my Skylight. I think we have a total of 20 holiday parties in the next 3 weeks. OOF.
We all need a little bit of help this season, working on the party planning, hosting set up and getting ready to dive into the new year. Some of our favorite central Texas and beyond resources to help outsource, so your time is focus on wrapping up the work side and spending more time with your love ones, are below.

Creating a festive atmosphere starts with decorations that bring warmth and cheer. @georgetownballoonboutique specializes in custom balloon designs that transform any space. Their holiday-themed balloon arches, centerpieces, and photo backdrops add a playful yet elegant touch to gatherings.

• Themed balloon bouquets perfect for holiday parties or new years eve parties
• Balloon installations designed for indoor and outdoor celebrations
Booking early ensures your event stands out with personalized decor that delights guests of all ages. Moms can save time and stress by letting the experts handle the setup. I know it takes me an avergae of 8 hours of work (and usually breaking a nail in the process!) to build my balloon arches, but the kids love the vibe they add to our events. WORTH IT to have the time back.

Unique Gifts and Local Finds
Outside of the million of parties this season, I also feel like I have to find so.many.gifts. i know every influencer out there has some type of list of what to buy, but I'm really focused on shopping local and/or thinking about experiences as gifts - ways to make your family and yourself thrive and you jump into the new year to focus on your business or career. After all, economist say that utility (joy) = times + money... so we need to make that equation, especially the time part we can control the most, work for us. Our family uses and works with these groups to this day and can recommend that they can bring lots of tidings of joy!

Tidy Crescent Co
Shopping for meaningful gifts can be a challenge...Why not give the gift of time instead to your mom, girlfriend or other busy lady or family in your life?. @tidycrescentco curates spaces that work for you, your family, or your business - and in a way that can grow with you over time.
Gift ideas to consider:
Moving or unpacking packages for the friend or family member in a period of transition
Closet refreshes and reorganization packages
Office organization packages
Garage organization packages for the Hubby
Pantry refresh for the family or friend
Supplies for organization with some consult time from Jamie and her team on how to update a space yourself
Choosing gifts from Tiny Crescent Co means giving something special while supporting how you and your family are growing while you grow your career.

Frankie Jean
Shopping local is my favorite thing. @frankiejean designs some of the cutest items that I like to bring to my 'Favorite Things' and white elephant parties. They are functional, stylish and trendy - and I always get a million compliments on them.
Some of my favorite gifts from them include:
Mama & mini matching hats and t-shirts
Personalized hats, shirts, bags and more
Recycled bracelets
After all, who doesn't want a hate that says 'Queso; (the best thing ever created) on it?.

Face Foundrie
The winter months can be harsh on skin, and every woman loves a good moment to do some self-care...but we don't always have hundreds of dollars or multiple hours a week while managing everything to do so.. @facefoundrie offers expert advice and products to keep your skin glowing through the holidays - with quick 20 - 45min facials and low monthly membership fees, you can get the best of it all; a good self-care routine that's quick and not going to break your budget.

Hydrating H2Glow 40-min facial treatments to combat dryness

Some other Quick Tips for the Holiday Season
The holiday season is about creating moments that matter. With the help of these local businesses and influencers, moms can find everything needed to make 2025’s holidays joyful and stress-free. From finding the perfect home to decorating, gifting, capturing memories, and caring for yourself, these resources cover all the essentials.
The holidays can be magical—but let’s be real, they can also feel like a second full-time job. Between school events, travel plans, last-minute shopping, and end-of-year work deadlines, it’s easy to lose yourself in the swirl. My best advice? Lower the bar, simplify the to-do list, and outsource where you can. You don’t have to do it all—and certainly not all at once.
My top 5 tips are:
Pick 1–2 meaningful traditions to lean into. Let go of the Pinterest-level pressure, and protect your time like the gift it is. Even 10 minutes of stillness, a solo coffee, or a walk between calls can refill your tank. Joy doesn’t have to come in big, Instagrammable gestures. Sip your coffee before it gets cold. Say yes to the holiday jammies. Turn up the music in the carpool line. Micro-joys are small rebellions against burnout—and they add up.
Grace > perfection. You’ve got this—and you don’t have to do it alone. What if you only have 15 more Christmas' left with your kids? Or 50 more holiday seasons? If so, you're going to want to remember them, so be present. Enjoy it. The holidays don’t need to look curated to feel meaningful. Whether it's store-bought cookies or last-minute gift bags, choosing done over perfect frees up energy for what really matters—connection, laughter, and presence.
Delegate like the boss lady you are. You do not need to be the sole memory-maker. Let your partner, kids, family, or even Amazon take the lead on something. Whether it’s wrapping gifts, planning dinner, or ordering classroom snacks, delegation isn’t failure—it’s leadership. So...set up that shared calendar. Our Skylight is a game-changer for the family because I can put our meals, and color code all of our obligations (included gamifying the kids daily checklists to leave the house or chores weekly) in a shared, physical calendar. I was skeptical that the family (read: the hubby) would use this, but having it right by the mudroom door has helped us keep everyone on track! Ask for help from one of the resources above. Task the kids with making some memories.
Say 'No' without guilt with a 'Not-Doing' List. You don’t have to attend every holiday event or volunteer for every classroom party. Choose what fits your bandwidth and your family's energy—then say “no” with grace. Protecting your time is an act of self-respect and a model for your kids that boundaries are healthy, even during the holidays. Everyone has a to-do list—but a “not-doing” list can be just as powerful. Give yourself permission to skip the things that drain you or no longer bring joy. You don’t have to bake from scratch, send holiday cards, or say yes to every invite to have a meaningful season.
Make space for joy. It’s easy to become the project manager of the holidays—coordinating meals, shipping gifts, managing travel. Pause to ask yourself: What do I want to feel this season? Then schedule one or two small moments that support that—whether it’s watching a holiday movie with no phones, baking with your kids, or setting aside one night for rest instead of wrapping. Presence matters more than perfection.
